This product isn't just for those who have experienced the performance of Ethanol and dealt with its associated challenges; it's for everyone with access to this advanced fuel. If you're not familiar with the benefits of Ethanol, it’s worth becoming informed. In summary, Ethanol offers a much higher octane level than regular pump gas, often comparable to race fuel. It burns cleaner, typically leaving behind little more than water, and it's usually less expensive than standard gasoline. These are considerable advantages.
How does it work?
The integration of new fuel lines with an Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA) allows for extremely precise ethanol content readings. This accuracy enables us to adjust our calibration in real time to match the ethanol content in your tank. For instance, if you have half a tank of pump gas and you fill the rest with Ethanol, creating an effective E50 mixture, our calibration will make crucial adjustments to various parameters. These adjustments include ignition timing, target air/fuel ratios, hot and cold start cranking settings, and maximum boost settings – all to produce the optimal performance for the current conditions. The greater the ethanol content of the fuel you’re running, the more power your car will automatically produce.
How to view your ethanol reading:
The CANBOXPRO comes with a complimentary Bluetooth app, which allows you to monitor your ethanol content in real time. With a Flex Fuel Enabled tune, EcuTek RaceROM, MHD+, and BM3 CustomROM allow you to view ethanol levels using their phone apps or with their live custom gauge hi-jack.
