Visconti Fire-Lock Head Gasket for BMW Gen1 B58

The Visconti Fire Lock Head Gasket for the BMW Gen1 B58 platform is designed for high boost and high horsepower engine builds where conventional gaskets begin to fail.

This gasket is available in both receiver ring and non receiver ring configurations.

The receiver ring version requires machining on the block side to create the receiver groove and therefore requires full engine disassembly to install. This version is best suited for new builds and is capable of supporting higher cylinder pressure.

The non receiver version is intended for engines that were using a standard head gasket and is ideal for customers wanting to upgrade without disassembling their block.

The Fire Lock sealing design helps contain extreme cylinder pressure while maintaining proper sealing between the block and cylinder head, making it ideal for serious B58 builds running high boost.

Important installation notes

If the block or cylinder head was previously O ringed, the groove must be filled and the surface resurfaced before installing this gasket.

This gasket is not compatible with step deck sleeve engines. The block must be resurfaced to remove the step before installation.
