The Visconti Tuning VW MK8 Flex Fuel Kit is one of the most advanced and user-friendly flex fuel solutions available. This fully CAN bus integrated system communicates directly with the factory ECU without requiring custom CAN configuration or modification of the factory fuel system.
CANBOX is our Bluetooth BLE Ethanol Content Analyzer that provides core flex fuel functionality. It supports both iOS and Android applications for configuration, over-the-air firmware updates, and advanced diagnostics.

ATTENTION TUNERS:
Our CANBOX integrates natively with EcuTek RaceROM and requires no custom CAN setup. There is no need to define CAN IDs, data bytes, update rates, or emulate third-party devices. Our hardware is EcuTek CX29 certified and uses EcuTek’s current CAN bus protocol for direct ECU communication.
Technical details and development history:
We were the first to develop a flex fuel kit that communicated directly with the factory ECU on a vehicle that did not originally include that functionality, originally developed on the Nissan GTR.
The ethanol content sensor connected by the firewall using our custom fuel fittings, allowing you to keep your factory fuel lines.
