EcuTek ECU Connect Interface (Bluetooth)

The EcuTek ECU Connect Interface is a Bluetooth (USB-C) vehicle interface that connects your phone to your ECU for datalogging, flashing via PhoneFlash, RaceROM feature control, and diagnostics using the free ECU Connect app.

Which option do I need?

ECU Connect — The interface only. This is what you need for PhoneFlash tuning, datalogging, and RaceROM features from your phone. Most customers getting tuned by us only need this.

ECU Connect + License Key (ProECU) — Adds the USB-C hardware license key, also known as a DESkey or dongle, that enables EcuTek's free ProECU software on a Windows laptop. Choose this if you want to flash tune files with a laptop, run advanced diagnostics, or self-tune supported platforms. This combination (interface + license key) is what was formerly sold as the EcuTek ProECU Programming Kit.

Good to know

• ECU Connect can flash your car back to stock for free at any time.
• ECU Connect can detect whether an EcuTek tune is already installed on a vehicle.
• On BMW MG1 ECUs, ECU Connect can also show whether the ECU is unlocked or not.
• EcuTek licenses are assigned to the vehicle, not the customer. The license stays with the car.

Before you order

• A vehicle flash license is required for tuning and is sold separately. Each vehicle needs its own license.
• No tune file is included with this hardware.
• Bluetooth supports datalogging and RaceROM features; flashing with ProECU requires a wired USB connection.

• Custom Datalogging Log numerous RaceROM live data parameters including fuel injection volume, per-cylinder knock, injector angle, G-sensors, wheel-slip ratio and more *
• Map Switching Switch between different modes using the app, and create and name each mode using ProECU *
• Valet Mode Reduce your car’s power output for when someone else is to drive it *
• Launch Control Adjust the launch RPM using the app *
• Boost Controller Set the maximum allowed boost pressure for each Map Switch mode

Custom Inputs

NEW for Custom Maps!

Five new inputs that can be configured and controlled using ECU Connect. Within ProECU these can be set up as a Slider control, a Numerical value or a Switch, and provides the following possibilities...

• Adjustable Boost set min/max boost with driver-adjustable slider control
• Adjustable Traction Control use a slider control for live variation of traction control gain
• Live Adjustments use slider or numerical control to add/remove ignition timing, adjust fuelling, vary cam timing or alter custom map outputs
• Live Adjustment of the power output, also engage solenoids or relays
• Limp Mode turn this ON or OFF using your handheld device

Special Tools – Nissan GT-R

ECU Connect offers all users extended functionality on the Nissan GT-R: log the engine and gearbox ECUs simultaneously, adjust the gearbox settings and read and clear the warning history. In addition, it’s possible to recalibrate steering angle and brake pressure sensors, and perform TPMS registration.

RaceRom - Nissan Juke (Gen1)
